Dow Jones Summer Diversity Institute 2009

E-mail Print PDF

I designed this site over Summer 2009 for the Dow Jones Summer Diversity Institute.  This is a program held annually by Kent State's School of Journalism and Mass Communication.  The web site displays the journalistic work that these high school students developed throughout the week.

The site is designed in pure XHTML and CSS with search-engine-friendly URLs.  I also implemented a carousel gallery on the home page using JonDesign's Smooth Gallery library.

School of Journalism and Mass Communication

About This Site

This is the web site for the Kent State School of Journalism and Mass Communication.  It is the result of a Summer 2008 redesign.  I worked as project manager, focusing on the information architecture and visual design of the site.  A wonderful programmer named Daniel White wrote most of the code and the project was supervised by Professor Fred Endres.
