Christopher Hallahan: Interactive resume, blog and portfolio

I realize this post (being my first to this blog) is extremely nerdy, but I thought I'd recount a sad sad event that just took place.  Today I found that I longer have use for my iMac G4 and have put it to rest on a shelf in the basement.  Why would I commit such a heinous crime you might ask?  Well, first, I already have a laptop and an iPhone.  The iMac was my backup computer that sat on my desk in my bedroom.  With a mobile phone and laptop to keep me connected constantly, I had no use for a slow desktop computer from the early 2000's anymore.  The second reason is energy saving.  With the expense of our electricity bill lately, it just seems a waste to keep the iMac plugged in (even on sleep) all day long.  So give it up for the iMac, for surviving until 2009.  I hope, one day, I will be able to display it prominently in a large office like any proud Mac geek.  :-)   -CH
